Send the eKYC OTP to the merchant’s Aadhaar-linked mobile (step 2a)

This call must be signed

POST carries an X-Signature header over POST\n/ext/v1/aeps/merchants/{merchant_ref}/ekyc/send-otp\n{TIMESTAMP}\n{BODY_SHA256}. The samples on the right compute it for you; the rules are in Request Signing.

Good to know

The OTP session is kept on our side — you never handle its reference. If the merchant’s eKYC is already complete, the reply is already_completed: true with otp_sent: false; go straight to Bank eKYC.
