Micro ATM — Card Cash Withdrawal

Debit-card cash withdrawal, balance enquiry and mini statement at your own outlets on a Bluetooth card reader. The card and PIN are read by our Micro ATM SDK inside your Android app; this API starts each transaction, hands the SDK its launch values and tells you the bank network’s final answer. A withdrawal, less any charge, is credited to your AEPS wallet.

Base: /ext/v1/matm Permission: matm Wallet: AEPS Cash withdrawal: ₹100 – ₹10,000, multiples of ₹100 Card readers: MoreFun, Pax, NewLand (Bluetooth) App: Android (Micro ATM SDK) Idempotency: client_reference on /transactions (required)
⚠️
The bank network decides SUCCESS — not the phone

The SDK result on the outlet’s phone is recorded as evidence, but a transaction becomes SUCCESS, and a withdrawal is credited to your AEPS wallet, only when the bank network’s own confirmation reaches Payonclick. Pay out cash when the SDK reports the withdrawal as successful — that is the moment the customer’s account is debited — and never when it reports a failure or returns nothing. A transaction without a final answer stays PENDING; do not repeat it for the same customer.

📘
Each outlet uses its own merchant

Micro ATM runs under the outlet’s own merchant, onboarded and eKYC’d through /ext/v1/aeps/merchants (the matm permission is enough for those calls). Bank eKYC and the daily fingerprint authentication are AEPS-only steps and are not needed for Micro ATM.

📘
Getting the SDK

The Payonclick Micro ATM SDK (v1.0.0) is an Android library: payonclick-microatm-sdk-v1.0.0.aar plus payonclick-card-reader-v1.0.0.jar. Ask your account manager for it and share your app’s applicationId; the SDK runs only in apps enabled for your account. Card readers must be one of the supported models.

Integration flow

1
/ext/v1/aeps/merchants
0. Onboard the outlet and complete its eKYC (once; shared with AEPS and UPI Cash).
2
Android SDK
1. Add the Micro ATM SDK to your Android app (see Android SDK Integration).
3
/transactions
2. Start a transaction: get the reference_id and the SDK launch values.
4
SDK on the phone
3. Launch the SDK with exactly those values. The customer inserts, swipes or taps the card and enters the PIN on the reader.
5
/transaction/{reference_id}/result
4. Report what the SDK returned.
6
/transaction/{reference_id}
5. Poll, or take the matm.* webhook. SUCCESS means the bank network confirmed it and your AEPS wallet is settled.
